Why *them* though? Because they've *seen* you? Is that all we need from someone? The bare minimum it takes to fall in love—I guess—is mild attention and occasional eye-contact. Are you a sucker for neglect? Do you secretly *desire* being mistreated, ignored, and emotionally starved? If this is what you know, does that mean *this* is what you want? There must be a way to find your desires and have them, too. Maybe right now it means finding this god-damned love you want so much inside yourself, and maybe that means internalizing this pain for just a little while longer.
